5.6 The online help
The Leica ASP300 S has an extensive help system that can be started from
every main window.
To obtain information about basic problems, you can use the Help index,
which is called up in the Help window using the INDEX key.

The help topics are called up
in the index according to the
hyperlink principle.
To scroll in the help window, use the MOVE
UP/ MOVE DOWN buttons.
The PREVIOUS TOPIC (1) but-
ton takes you from a detail
back to the index.
BACK (2) displays the most recently active
working window.
The CUSTOM HELP button (3) is displayed only
if a custom laboratory help has been installed.

For detailed information on how to create and install a custom help file, refer
to the help index under the "What is Custom Help?" header.
In addition to the help index, there are other help options which are
always provided in context. These are displayed only when help is
accessed within the window in which the problem occurs.
Help in the case of an error message
To call up help in the case of an error message:
• PressthebuttonsymbolDETAILS, or
• PresstheHELP button integrated in the message
to receive information about the source of error.
