9. Operating the Instrument in the Automatic Processing Mode

If there is an emergency, an automatic process-

ing cycle can be stopped immediately and - in a

subsequent step - entirely aborted.

Processing will continue as programmed.

• Toaborttheprocess,pressSTOPagain.

This will terminate the specimen processing defi-

nitely without any option to resume processing.

The tissue basket remains immersed in the cur-

rent station and has to be removed in the manual

processing mode.

The termination of automatic specimen process-

ing is indicated on the display, supported by

an audible signal that is repeated in 30-second

intervals.

The position of the specimen basket and "DONE"

appear in the display.

• Pressanykeytoconfirmthemessageandturn

off the sound signal.

The specimens can now be removed in the

manual processing mode.
