Disabling the automatic shuto
To disable the automatic shuto, follow these
steps:
1. Switch the microscope o.
2. Press and hold the and buttons on
the light control unit simultaneously while
you switch on the microscope.
The LEDs ash twice slowly and then remain
switched on. The automatic shuto is now disa-
bled.

The factory settings of the EZ4 models
switch the instrument o automatically
after one hour without user interaction. This
automatic shuto helps to conserve the light-
emitting diodes and save energy.

To re-enable the automatic shuto, follow
these steps:
1. Switch the microscope o.
2. Press and hold the and buttons on
the light control unit simultaneously while
you switch on the microscope.
The LEDs ash three times slowly and then
remain switched on. The automatic shuto is
now re-enabled.
