Applicable modes:
This mode allows adjusting the flash output if the recorded pictures are too bright or too dark.
Notes
•
You can adjust from [j2 EV] to [i2 EV] in steps of [1/3 EV].
• Select [0 EV] to return to the standard flash output.
• [i] or [j] is displayed on the flash icon in the screen when the flash level is adjusted.
Applicable modes:
When the Red-Eye Reduction ([ ], [ ]) is selected, Red-Eye Removal is performed
whenever the flash is used. The camera automatically detects red-eye and corrects the picture.

Notes
•
This mode is only available when [AF Mode] is set to [š] and Face Detection is active.
• Under certain circumstances, the red-eye effect cannot be corrected.
• The setting is fixed to [ON] with Snapshot Mode.
• [Red-Eye Removal] cannot be used in the following cases.
