Basic
• This will work when the HDMI mini cable (available as accessory, see P7) is connected.
• Refer to P169 for details.

[Output]
This sets how the camera connects to a television etc.
[Video Out]: (Menu item only available with model no. 18 190.)
Set to match the television color system in each country.
[NTSC]:
Video output is set to NTSC system.
[PAL]:
Video output is set to PAL system.

This will work when the AV cable or HDMI mini cable (available as
accessory, see P7) is connected.
[TV Aspect]:
Set to match the type of TV.
W [16:9]:
When connecting to a 16:9 screen TV.
X [4:3]:
When connecting to a 4:3 screen TV.

This will work when the AV cable is connected.
[HDTV Link]
This sets the camera so it can be controlled by the remote control of
the HDTV compatible equipment which is automatically coupled with
the camera using HDMI mini cable (available as accessory, see P7).
[ON]: Remote control operation of the HDTV Link compatible
equipment is enabled. (Not all operations are possible)
Button operation of the camera will be limited.
[OFF]: Operation is performed with the buttons on the camera.
[3D Playback]
This sets the output method for 3D pictures.
[]: Set when connecting to a 3D compatible television.
[]: Set when connecting to a television not compatible with 3D.
Set this when you would like to view pictures in 2D
(conventional image) on a 3D compatible television.
