Message displays
[Memory card parameter error]
The card is not of SD standard.
With capacities of 4 GB or more, only SDHC or SDXC Memory Cards are supported.
[Read Error] / [Write Error] [Please check the card]
Reading the data has failed.
Check whether the card has been inserted correctly (19).
Writing the data has failed.
Turn off the power and remove the card, before re-inserting and turning on the power again.
The card may possibly be damaged.
Try with a different card.
[Cannot record due to incompatible format(NTSC/PAL) data on this card.]
Format the card after saving necessary data on a PC etc. (60)
Insert a different card.
[Motion recording was cancelled due to the limitation of the writing speed of the card]
If recording stops even when using a card of the recommended speed class (20), the data writing
speed has dropped. If this happens, we recommend backing up the data on the memory card and
formatting it (60).
Motion picture recording may be automatically terminated with certain cards.
[A folder cannot be created]
The folder numbers in use have reached 999.
Save the needed data on a computer or an other device, and then use [Format] on the camera.
(60)Folder number is reset to 100 when performing [No.Reset] (58).
[Picture is displayed for 16:9 TV] [Picture is displayed for 4:3 TV]
The camera is connected through the supplied AV cable.
To remove a message immediately Press [MENU/SET].
To change an aspect ratio Change [TV Aspect] (59).
The USB connection cable (supplied) is only connected to camera.
