This mode, in which you set both aperture and shutter speed manually gives you full
control of the exposure, i.e. of how bright a subject is rendered. Also, long-exposure
recording of up to 15 seconds is possible.
Set the mode dial to ([Manual Exposure] Mode)
• Manual exposure assist is displayed.
Press the [EXPOSURE] button and use the respective cursor
buttons to determine aperture value and shutter speed

Manual exposure assist (estimate)
If the shutter release button is pressed halfway, manual exposure assist is displayed.
Indicates exposures with standard brightness.
Indicates a brighter exposure. For standard brightness, either use a
faster shutter speed or increase the aperture value.
Indicates a darker exposure. For standard brightness, either use a slower
shutter speed or reduce the aperture value.
When the picture is too bright or too dark, indicating an incorrect exposure, the aperture
and shutter speed values are shown in red.
The brightness of the monitor image may differ from the actual picture recorded.
