Controlling with a Smartphone/Tablet
You can remotely operate the camera using a
smartphone.
You need to install “Leica Image Shuttle” (referred to as
“Image Shuttle” from this point on) on your
smartphone.
The “Image Shuttle” is an application provided by Leica Camera AG.

Use the latest version.
• Statement concerning the supported OS is correct as of September 2014, and is subject to
change.
• Read the [Help] in the “Image Shuttle” menu for further details on how to operate.
• The screen differs depending on the OS.
• The screens and procedures described from this point on are those at the time when the
camera first became available for purchase. The screens and procedures may change with
version updates.
• The service may not be able to be used properly depending on the type of smartphone being
used.
• When downloading the app on a mobile network, high packet communication fees may be
incurred depending on the details of your contract.
Installing the smartphone/tablet app “Image Shuttle”

¢ Connecting to the camera with [Wi-Fi Direct] requires Android OS 4.0 or higher and Wi-Fi

1 Connect the smartphone to a network.
2 (Android) Select “Google Play

Store”.
(iOS) Select “App Store

3 Enter “Leica Image Shuttle” into the search box.
4 Select “Leica Image Shuttle” and install it.
