Easily setting aperture/shutter speed for a
suitable exposure
(One Push AE)
Available in the following modes:
When the exposure setting is too bright or too dark, you can use one push AE to achieve a
suitable one.
•
The shutter speed/aperture combination is displayed, and they are changed to give a
suitable exposure.
• The shutter speed/aperture combination is not displayed in Creative Video Mode.
• In the following cases, suitable exposure cannot be set.
– When the subject is extremely dark and it is not possible to achieve an appropriate
exposure by changing the aperture value or shutter speed
– When recording using the flash
– In Preview Mode (P91)
• In Program Mode, Program Shift can be canceled by pressing the function button to which
[One Push AE] has been assigned.
How to tell if the exposure is not appropriate
•
If the aperture and shutter speed values flash red A when
the shutter button is pressed halfway.
• If the Light Balance is anything other than when in
Manual Exposure Mode.
