Yourtabletcanconnecttoavarietyofnetworksanddevices,includingmobilenetworks(2Gor3G),Wi-Fi

datanetworks,andBluetoothdevices.

Note:Sometabletmodelscanconnecttobothmobilenetworks(2Gor3G)andWi-Finetworks,whileothers

canconnecttoWi-Finetworksonly.IfyourtabletsupportsWi-Ficonnectiononly,theinformationrelated

tomobilenetworksdoesnotapplytoyourtablet.

Determiningwhichmobilenetworkyouareusing

Forsomenetworks,youcancheckthenetworknametoseewhichmobilenetworkyouareusing.

Tocheckthenetworkname,dothefollowing:

1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,ortouchthe

applicationsicon

fromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettingsscreenopens.

2.TouchWireless&networks➙Mobilenetworkstoviewthenameofthenetworktowhichyouare

connected.

Disablingdataroamingonmobilenetworks

Disablethedataroamingfunctiontoavoidunwantedchargeswhenyouaretravelingwithyourtabletto

areascoveredbyothercarriers’mobilenetworks.

Todisablethedataroamingfunction,dothefollowing:

1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,ortouchthe

applicationsiconfromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettingsscreenopens.

2.TouchWireless&networks➙MobilenetworksandcleartheDataroamingcheckbox.

Limitingmobiledataconnectionto2Gnetworks

Ifyourbatterypowerislowandyouareunabletochargethebattery,limitthemobiledataconnectiontoa

2Gnetworktoextendyourbatterylife.Aslowernetworkconnectionconsumeslesspower.

Note:Whenyouareconnectedtoa2Gnetwork,youmightwanttopostponeactivitiesthattransmitalotof

data,suchassending,uploading,ordownloadingpicturesorvideos,untilyoucanchargeyourbatteryand

connectyourtablettoafastermobilenetworkorotherwirelessnetwork.

Tolimitdataconnectiontoa2Gnetwork,dothefollowing:
