IfthehostThinkPadnotebookcomputerdoesnothavethelatestAccessConnectionsprograminstalled,
gotohttp://support.lenovo.comtodownloadit.
TocapturetheWi-FiprolesfromyourThinkPadnotebookcomputer,dothefollowing:
1.Installaashmediacardintoyourtablet.TheashmediacardisusedtostorethecapturedWi-Fi
proles.See“Usingthe3-in-1mediacardreader”onpage48forinstructionsonhowtoinstalla
ashmediacard.
2.ConnectthetablettoyourcomputerwiththesuppliedUSBcableandselectTransferles(Media
TransferProtocol).
3.LaunchAccessConnectionsfromyourcomputerandswitchtotheAdvancedview.
4.ClicktheToolstabandclickExporttoAndroid.AlistofWi-Fiprolesisdisplayed.
5.SelecttheWi-FiprolesfromthelistandclickOK.
6.SelecttheCaptureWiFiconnectionproleradiobutton.
7.BrowsetheinstalledashmediacardinyourtabletasthetargetlocationtosavetheWi-Fiproles.
8.ClickOK.TheWi-Fiprolesaresavedandstoredontheashmediacardthatisinstalledinyourtablet.
9.ClickOKagainwhenpromptedforconrmation.
ImportingWi-Fiprolestoyourtablet
ToimporttheWi-Fiprolestoyourtablet,dothefollowing:
1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,ortouchthe
applicationsiconfromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettingsscreenopens.
2.TouchWireless&network➙Wi-Fisettings➙Import.TheWi-FiImportSettingsscreenisdisplayed.
3.TouchtheWi-Fiprolesyouwanttoimport,andthentouchOK.
4.TheselectedWi-FiproleisimportedtoyourtabletandtheWi-FinameislistedunderWi-Finetworks
ontheWi-Fisettingsscreen.WhenyouarewithinrangeofthisWi-Finetwork,yourtabletwillconnectto
itautomatically.
Conguringthewirelessnetworkdisconnectpolicy
Togetlongerbatterylife,manageyourwirelessconnectionsmorereasonablybyconguringthewireless
networkdisconnectpolicy.
Tocongurethewirelessnetworkdisconnectpolicy,dothefollowing:
1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,ortouchthe
applicationsiconfromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettingsscreenopens.
2.TouchWireless&network➙Wi-Fisettings.
3.TouchtheMenuiconandthentouchAdvanced.
4.TouchWirelessEnhancedSettings
5.Thefollowingoptionsaredisplayed.Touchtoenablethefunctionortofurthercongurethesetting.
