Disconnectthedeviceprogrammaticallyandthenphysicallyasfollows:
1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,or
touchtheapplicationsiconfromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettings
screenopens.
2.TouchStorageUnmountUSBstorage.
3.UnplugtheUSBdevicesafely.
WorkingwithotherUSBdevices
Ifyouareaccustomedtousingatraditionalphysicalkeyboard,youcanconnectaUSBkeyboardtoyour
tablet.Whenconnected,theonscreenkeyboardisdisabledautomaticallyandyoucanstartusingthe
USBkeyboardimmediately.
KeyboardscanalsobesetupthroughtheThinkPadTabletDock’sUSBconnectorandLenovo
offersbothaThinkPadUSBKeyboardwithTrackpoint

andaThinkPadEdgewirelesskeyboard

Touseanexternaldisplayforvideooutput,youhavetoenabletheAttacheddisplayfunctionrstby
doingthefollowing:
1.FromthemainHomescreen,touchtheAndroidSettingsicononLenovoLaunchZone,ortouchthe
applicationsiconfromtheactionbarandthentouchSettings.TheAndroidSettingsscreenopens.
2.TouchScreenAttacheddisplaytoenableit.Whenenabled,agreencheckisdisplayedinthe
checkbox.
WhenyouconnectanexternaldisplaytoyourtabletthroughtheHDMIconnector,yourtabletscreenimage
isautomaticallymirroredontheexternaldisplayatthehighestresolutionthatthedevicesupports.
Ifyouattachanexternaldisplaywhileyouareplayingavideo,thevideooutputisdisplayedontheexternal
displayinafull-screenlandscapemode,butthevideoplaybackcontrolsaredisplayedonyourtablet.
Todisabletheimageoutputontheattacheddisplay,disconnecttheexternaldisplayfromyourtablet.
