Lenovoencouragesyoutomakeefﬁcientuseofenergyanintegralpartofyourday-to-dayoperations.To

helpinthisendeavor,Lenovohaspresetthefollowingpower-managementfeaturestotakeeffectwhenyour

computerhasbeeninactiveforaspeciﬁedlengthoftime:

Powerplan:EnergySaver/LenovoPowerOptimized(settingswhenpluggedintoacpower)

•Turnoffthedisplay:After10minutes

•Putthecomputerintosleep:After20minutes

•Advancedpowersettings:

–Turnoffharddisks:After15minutes

–Hibernate:Never

Toawakenyourcomputerfromsleepmode,presstheFnkeyonyourkeyboard.Formoreinformationabout

thesesettings,seetheWindowsHelpandSupportinformationonyourcomputer.

TheWakeonLANfunctionisenabledwhenyourLenovocomputerisshippedfromthefactory,andthe

settingremainsvalidevenwhenthecomputerisinsleepmode.IfyoudonotneedtohaveWakeonLAN

enabledwhilethecomputerisinsleepmode,youcanreducethepowerconsumptionandprolongthetime

insleepmode,bydisablingthesettingofWakeonLANforsleepmode.

TodisablethesettingofWakeonLANforsleepmode,dothefollowing:

1.GotoControlPanel.

2.ClickHardwareandSound➙DeviceManager.
