thereturnandrecyclingofusedappliancesasapplicablethroughouttheEuropeanUnion.Thislabelis

appliedtovariousproductstoindicatethattheproductisnottobethrownaway,butratherreclaimedupon

endoflifeperthisDirective.Usersofelectricalandelectronicequipment(EEE)withtheWEEEmarkingper

AnnexIVoftheWEEEDirectivemustnotdisposeofendoflifeEEEasunsortedmunicipalwaste,butusethe

collectionframeworkavailabletothemforthereturn,recycle,recoveryofWEEEandminimizeanypotential

effectsofEEEontheenvironmentandhumanhealthduetothepresenceofhazardoussubstances.For
