•Checkwithyoursoftwaremanufacturertoseeifanyupdatesareavailable.Manysoftwaremanufacturers
makeupdatesavailablefromtheWorldWideWeb.
•Ifthesoftwareprogramusedtoworkcorrectly,butdoesnotworkcorrectlynow,dothefollowing:
–OntheWindows7operatingsystem,clickStart➙ControlPanel➙SystemandSecurity➙System
➙SystemProtection➙SystemRestore.
•Ifyouareunabletoresolvetheproblemthroughothermethods,uninstallthesoftwareprogramand
reinstallit.
Iftheseactionsdonotcorrecttheproblem,youmightneedtechnicalassistance.Contactyoursoftware

USBproblems
Symptom:TheUSBconnectorscannotbeaccessed.
Actions:
•MakesuretheUSBcableissecurelyconnectedtotheUSBconnectorandtotheUSBdevice.IftheUSB
devicehasitsownpowercord,makesureitisattachedtoaproperlygroundedelectricaloutlet.
•IftheUSBdevicehasitsownOn/Offswitch,makesureitisintheOnposition.
•IftheUSBdevicehasanOnlineswitch,makesureitisintheOnlineposition.
•IftheUSBdeviceisaprinter,makesurepaperisloadedcorrectly.
•MakesureanydevicedriversorothersoftwaresuppliedwiththeUSBdeviceiscorrectlyinstalled.
RefertothedocumentationfortheUSBdevice.
•ResetthedevicebydetachingandreattachingtheUSBconnector.

computerisrunningtheWindowsoperatingsystem.
