inThinkPadSetup.TheUEFI/LegacyBootsettingmustbethesameasitwaswhentheWindows
operatingsystemimagewasinstalled.Otherwise,theoperatingsystemwillnotbootproperly.

3.SelectUEFI/LegacyBoot.
4.Dooneofthefollowing:
•IfyouwanttoinstalltheWindows7(32–bit)operatingsystem,selectLegacyOnlyorBoth.
•IfyouwanttoinstalltheWindows7(64–bit)operatingsysteminLegacymode,selectLegacyOnly.
•IfyouwanttoinstalltheWindows7(64–bit)operatingsysteminUEFImode,selectUEFIOnly.
5.PressF10.
6.InserttheWindows7operatingsysteminstallationDVDintotheDVDdrive,andrestartthecomputer.
7.RestoreC:\SWTOOLSfromthebackupcopyyoumadebeforestartingtheinstallation.
8.InstalltheIntelChipsetSupportforWindows2000/XP/Vista/7/8.Todothis,runtheSetup.exeleinthe
C:\SWTOOLS\DRIVERS\INTELINF\innst_autoldirectory.
9.Installdevicedrivers.See“Installingotherdriversandsoftware(forWindows7)”onpage76.
