Attention:Beforeyoustartinstallingawireless-WANcard,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.

Thisactionreducesanystaticelectricityfromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethecard.

1.Disconnecttheacpowerfromthecomputerandturnoffthecomputer.Closethecomputerdisplay

andturnthecomputerover.

2.Removetheremovablebattery.See“Replacingtheremovablebattery”onpage115.

3.Removethebottomcover.See“Replacingthebottomcover”onpage118.

4.Ifatoolisprovidedwiththenewwireless-WANcardtohelpyoudisconnectcables,usethetoolto

disconnectthecablesfromthewireless-WANcard.Otherwise,holdthecableconnectorwithyour

ﬁngersandgentlydisconnectthecablesfromthewireless-WANcard.

Note:AMylarﬁlmmightcoverthewirelessWANcard.ToaccessthewirelessWANcard,openthe

ﬁlmﬁrst.

5.Removethescrew.Thewireless-WANcardisreleasedfromthesecuredpositionandpivotsupward.

6.Carefullyremovethewireless-WANcardoutoftheslot.
