containsasmallamountofharmfulsubstance.Toavoidpossibleinjury:

•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.

•Keepthebatteryawayfromﬁre.

•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.

•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.

•Donotshort-circuitit.

•Donotdrop,crush,puncturethebattery,ormakeitsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseor

mishandlingcancausethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorﬂameto“vent”

fromthebatteryorcoin-cellbattery.

Toreplacethecoin-cellbattery,dothefollowing:

1.Disconnecttheacpowerfromthecomputerandturnoffthecomputer.Closethecomputerdisplay

andturnthecomputerover.

2.Removetheremovablebattery.See“Replacingtheremovablebattery”onpage115.

3.Removethebottomcover.See“Replacingthebottomcover”onpage118.

4.Removethekeyboard.See“Replacingthekeyboard”onpage125.

5.Loosenthescrew1andremovetheshieldingbracket2.

6.Detachtheconnector1andremovethecoin-cellbattery2.
