Increasingmemorycapacityisaneffectivewaytomakeprogramsrunfaster.Toreplaceoraddamemory

module,readthefollowingprerequisites,andthentheinstructions.

Note:Theoperatingspeedofthememorymodulehasdependencyonthesystemconﬁguration.Insome

conditions,thememorymoduleinyourcomputermightnotbeabletooperateatthemaximumspeed.

Attention:

•Beforeyoustart,touchametaltableoragroundedmetalobject.Thisactionreducesanystaticelectricity

fromyourbody.Staticelectricitycoulddamagethememorymodule.

•Donottouchthecontactedgeofthememorymodule.Otherwisethememorymodulemightgetdamaged.

Toreplacethememorymoduleunderthekeyboard,dothefollowing:

1.Disconnecttheacpowerfromthecomputerandturnoffthecomputer.Closethecomputerdisplay

andturnthecomputerover.

2.Removetheremovablebattery.See“Replacingtheremovablebattery”onpage115.

3.Removethebottomcover.See“Replacingthebottomcover”onpage118.

4.Removethekeyboard.See“Replacingthekeyboard”onpage125
