Thefanlouversandtheinternalfanenableairtocirculateinthecomputertoensurepropercooling,
especiallythecoolingofthemicroprocessor.
Note:Toensureproperairflow,donotplaceanyobstaclesinfrontofthefanlouvers.
2Thunderbolt3connectors
TheThunderbolt3connectoriscompatiblewithUSBType_Cstandard.Itenablesyoutoconnectyour
computertoadevicethatiscompatiblewiththeThunderbolt3interface,suchasaprojector,anexternal
monitor,orahigh-definitiontelevision(HDTV).WiththeThunderbolt3connector,youcantransferdata,and
runanexternaldisplay.
3HDMIconnector
HDMIconnectorisadigitalaudioandvideointerfacethatcanconnectacompatibledigitalaudiodeviceand
videomonitor,suchasaDVDplayeroranHDTV.
4Ethernetconnector
Connectthecomputertoalocalareanetwork(LAN)throughtheEthernetconnector.

Toavoidtheriskofelectricalshock,donotconnectthetelephonecabletotheEthernetconnector.
YoucanonlyconnectanEthernetcabletothisconnector.
TheEthernetconnectorhastwonetworkstatusindicators.Whenthegreenindicatorison,thecomputeris
connectedtoaLAN.Whentheyellowindicatorblinks,dataisbeingtransmitted.
Note:Ifthecomputerisconnectedtoadockingstation,usetheEthernetconnectoronthedockingstation
insteadoftheoneonthecomputer.
