Tipsforusingthewireless-WANfeature
Toachievethebestconnection,usethefollowingguidelines:
•Keepyourcomputerawayfromyourbody.
•Placeyourcomputeronaflatsurfaceandopenyourcomputerlidtoanangleofslightlymorethan
90degrees.
•Placeyourcomputerawayfromconcreteorbrickwallsthatmightdampencellularsignals.
•Bestreceptionisavailablenearwindowsandotherlocationswherecellularphonereceptionisthe
strongest.
Checkingthewireless-WANconnectionstatus
Youcancheckthewireless-WANconnectionstatusthroughthewireless-network-connection-statusiconin
theWindowsnotificationarea.Themorebarsencompassed,thebetterthesignalis.
FortheWindows7operatingsystem,youalsocancheckthewireless-WANconnectionstatusthroughthe
AccessConnectionsgaugeintheWindowsnotificationarea.

UsingtheBluetoothconnection
Bluetoothcanconnectdevicesthatarewithinashortdistancefromoneanother,andiscommonlyusedfor
connectingperipheraldevicestoacomputer,transferringdatabetweenhand-helddevicesandapersonal
computer,orremotelycontrollingandcommunicatingwithdevicessuchasmobilephones.
Dependingonthemodel,yourcomputermightsupporttheBluetoothfeature.Totransferdatathrough
theBluetoothfeature,dothefollowing:

Bluetoothoption,thedatatransmissionspeedcanbedelayedandtheperformanceofthewirelessfeature

•ForWindows10:OpentheStartmenu,andthenclickSettings➙Network&Internet➙Airplane
mode.TurnontheBluetoothfeature.
