conﬁgurationsenttofulﬁllment,whereitisbuiltandshippeddirectlytothecustomer.Themachinelabeland

eSupportwillloadtheseproductsasthe4-characterMT,4-charactermodel,and2-charactercountrycode.

Themodelis“CTO1”andthedefaultcountrycodeis“WW”(example:20AACTO1WW).

Special-bidmodel

ThisisauniqueconﬁgurationthathasbeennegotiatedbetweenLenovoandthecustomer.AuniqueMTM

consistsofa4-characterMT,a4-charactermodel,andanumeric2-charactercountrycodeisprovidedto

thecustomertoplaceorders(example:20AA000955).Thecountrycodeassignedisnumericanddoesnot

designateaspeciﬁccountryorregion.ThecustommodelfactsheetfortheMTMindicateswhichcountrythe

specialbidMTMissetupfor.Special-bidofferingisnotgenerallyannounced.

Standardmodel

Standardmodels(ﬁxedconﬁguration)areannouncedandofferedtoallcustomers.TheMTMportionofthe

machinelabelconsistsofa4-characterMT,a4-charactermodel,andanalphabetic2-charactercountry

code.Thecountrycodeassignedisalphabeticandrepresentsadesignatedcountryorregion(example:

20AA0009UK).

FRUidentiﬁcation

UseLenovoeSupporttoidentifymajorFRUs,FRUpartnumbers,andFRUdescriptionsforaproductatan

MT-serialnumberlevel.ExamplesofmajorFRUsaresolid-statedrive,systemboard,andliquidcrystal

display(LCD).
