aWindows10productisinstalled,theinstallationprogramchecksthecomputerﬁrmwareforavalid,

matchingProductIDtocompletetheactivation.

Insomecases,anearlierWindowsversionmightbepreinstalledunderthetermsoftheWindows10Pro

licensedowngraderights.
