2.Iftheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect,turnoffthecomputer,andthendisconnecttheac
poweradapterandremovetheremovablebattery.
3.Reinstallthebatteryandreconnecttheacpoweradapter,andthenturnonthecomputer.
4.IfthepoweradaptericonstillisnotdisplayedintheWindowsnotificationarea,havetheacpower
adapterandyourcomputerserviced.

Solution:Checkthefollowingitems:
1.Verifythepowerbutton.Thepowerbuttonisilluminatedwheneverthecomputerison.
2.Checkallpowerconnections.Removeanypowerstripsandsurgeprotectorstoconnecttheac
poweradapterdirectlytotheacpoweroutlet.
3.Inspecttheacpoweradapter.Checkforanyphysicaldamage,andensurethatthepowercableis
firmlyattachedtotheadapterbrickandthecomputer.
4.Verifythattheacpowersourceisworkingbyattachinganotherdevicetotheoutlet.
•Problem:Mycomputerdoesnotrunonbatterypower.
Solution:Checkthefollowingitems:
1.Removeandreinstalltheremovablebatterytoensurethatitisproperlyconnected.
2.Ifthebatteryrunsoutofpower,attachtheacpoweradaptertorechargethebattery.
3.Ifthebatteryischargedbutthecomputerdoesnotrun,replacethebatterywithanewone.
•Problem:Thesystemdoesnotrespond,andIcannotturnoffthecomputer.
Solution:Turnoffthecomputerbypressingandholdingthepowerbuttonforfoursecondsormore.Ifthe
computerstilldoesnotrespond,removetheacpoweradapterandthebattery.
Powerbuttonproblem
Problem:Thesystemdoesnotrespond,andIcannotturnoffthecomputer.
Solution:Turnoffthecomputerbypressingandholdingthepowerbuttonforfoursecondsormore.Ifthe
systemisstillnotreset,removetheacpoweradapterandthebattery.
Bootproblem
Printtheseinstructionsnowandkeepthemwithyourcomputerforreferencelater.
•Problem:Ireceiveanerrormessagebeforetheoperatingsystemloads.
Solution:Followtheappropriatecorrectiveactionsforpower-onself-test(POST)errormessages.
•Problem:Ireceiveanerrormessagewhiletheoperatingsystemisloadingthedesktopconfiguration
afterthePOSTiscompleted.
