containsasmallamountofharmfulsubstance.Toavoidpossibleinjury:

•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.

•Keepthebatteryawayfromﬁre.

•Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.

•Donotexposeittowaterorrain.

•Donotshort-circuitit.

•Donotdrop,crush,puncturethebattery,ormakeitsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseor

mishandlingcancausethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorﬂameto"vent"

fromthebatteryorcoin-cellbattery.

Toreplacethecoin-cellbattery,dothefollowing:

1.Disablethebuilt-inbattery.See“Disablingthebuilt-inbattery”onpage109.

2.Ensurethatthecomputeristurnedoffanddisconnectedfromacpowerandallcables.

3.Closethecomputerdisplayandturnthecomputerover.

4.Removetheremovablebattery.See“Replacingtheremovablebattery”onpage110.

5.Removethebasecoverassembly.See“Replacingthebasecoverassembly”onpage112.

6.Detachtheconnector1,andthenremovethecoin-cellbattery2.
