Replacingtheremovablebattery
Beforeyoustart,read“Importantsafetyinformation”onpagevandprintthefollowinginstructions.
ThissystemsupportsonlybatteriesspeciallydesignedforthisspecificsystemandmanufacturedbyLenovo
oranauthorizedbuilder.Thesystemdoesnotsupportunauthorizedbatteriesorbatteriesdesignedforother
systems.Ifanunauthorizedbatteryorabatterydesignedforanothersystemisinstalled,thesystemdoes
notchargeandthefollowingmessageisdisplayed:
"Thebatteryinstalledisnotsupportedbythissystemandwillnotcharge.Replacethebatterywiththe
correctLenovobatteryforthissystem."
Attention:Lenovohasnoresponsibilityfortheperformanceorsafetyofunauthorizedbatteries,and
providesnowarrantiesforfailuresordamagearisingoutoftheiruse.

Iftherechargeablebatteryisincorrectlyreplaced,thereisdangerofanexplosion.Thebattery
containsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.Toavoidpossibleinjury:
ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.
Keepthebatteryawayfromfire.
Donotexposeittoexcessiveheat.
Donotexposeittowaterorrain.
Donotshort-circuitit.
Donotdrop,crush,puncture,orsubjecttostrongforces.Batteryabuseormishandlingcan
causethebatterytooverheat,whichcancausegassesorflameto"vent"fromthebattery.
