Thissectionprovidesinstructionsonhowtoreplacetheprimaryharddiskdrive.
Note:Dependingonyourmodeltype,yourcomputermightcomewitha2.5-inchsolid-statedrive.Toinstall

Toreplacetheprimaryharddiskdrive,dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputeranddisconnectallpowercordsfromelectricaloutlets.
2.Removethecomputercover.See“Removingthecomputercover”onpage34.
3.Locatetheprimaryharddiskdrive.See“Locatinginternaldrives”onpage14.
4.Disconnectthesignalcableandthepowercablefromtheharddiskdrive.
5.Pullthebluehandletoreleaseandremovetheharddiskdrivefromthedrivecage.
