Removal steps of the built-in battery
DANGER
Use only the authorized battery specified for your computer. Any other battery could ignite or
explode.

Note: After the built-in battery is removed or re-installed, Date/Time, power-on password and system
management passwords are initialized. Press F1 to enter the ThinkPad Setup program to change Date/Time.
