Attention: When you route the cables, ensure that they are not subject to any tension. Tension could cause
the cables to be damaged by the cable guides, or a wire to be broken.
When installing: ensure that you connect the orange cable to the main connector, the blue cable to the
auxiliary connector, the white and grey cable to the M1 connector, and the black and grey cable to the M2
connector.
Removal steps of WWAN antenna assembly (for models without MIMO)
For access, remove these FRUs in order:
• “1010 Base cover assembly” on page 59
• “1040 Thermal fan assembly” on page 62
• “1060 Built-in battery” on page 64
• “1070 Speaker assembly near the built-in battery” on page 65
