Toreinstalltheservercoverandreconnectcablestoyourserver,dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethatallcomponentshavebeenreassembledcorrectlyandthatnotoolsorloosescrewsare
leftinsideyourserver.
2.Ensurethatallinternalcablesareroutedcorrectlyandsecuredbyanycableclipsortiesintheserver.
Keepcablesclearofthehingesandsidesoftheserverchassistoavoidinterferencewithreinstalling
thecoolingshroudandtheservercover.Thefollowingillustrationsshowthecableroutingforthetwo
chassiscongurationsbasedonthesupportedharddiskdrives.
Routethesignalcables
1throughtheleftinnersideofthechassis.Thesignalcablesincludethe
mini-SAStomini-SASsignalcable,thefrontpanelcable,thefrontpanelUSBcable,thediagnostic
modulecable,andtheSATAsignalcablefortheopticaldrive.
Connectthepowercable2fortheopticaldrivetotheopticaldrivepowerconnectoronthe
backplaneandproperlyroutethecableinthechassis.
