Toenablethenetworkadministratortocontrolyourcomputerremotely,youmustcongurethenetwork

Ifanadministrator'spassword(supervisorpassword)hasbeenset,youwillneedtospecifyitwhenyoustart
theThinkPadSetup,sothatyoucanusethesefunctions.
WakeonLAN
WhentheWakeonLANfeatureisenabledonacomputerthatisconnectedtoaLAN,anetworkadministrator
canstartthecomputerremotelyfromamanagementconsole,usingremotenetwork-managementsoftware.
SettingupintheThinkPadSetup
ToenableordisableWakeonLAN,gototheThinkPadSetupmenu.Whenyourcomputerisnotunderthe
networkadministrator'ssystemmanagement,youcandisableWakeonLAN.
Tosetthisfunction,dothefollowing:
1.StarttheThinkPadSetupmenu.
2.SelectCong.
3.TheCongsubmenuappears.
4.SelectNetwork.
5.TheNetworkitemsubmenuappears.
