recommendationsreecttheconsensusofthescienticcommunityandresultfromdeliberationsofpanels
andcommitteesofscientistswhocontinuallyreviewandinterprettheextensiveresearchliterature.
Insomesituationorenvironment,theuseofintegratedwirelesscardsmayberestrictedbytheproprietor
ofthebuildingorresponsiblerepresentativesoftheorganization.Thesesituationsandareasmayfor
exampleinclude:
•Usingtheintegratedwirelesscardsonboardofairplanes,inhospitalsornearpetrolstations,blasting
areas(withelectro-explosivedevices),medicalimplantsorbody-wornelectronicmedicaldevices,e.g.
pacemakers.
•Inanyotherenvironmentwheretheriskofinterferencetootherdevicesorservicesisperceivedor
identiedasharmful.
Ifyouareuncertainofthepolicythatappliesontheuseofwirelessdevicesinaspecicorganization(e.g.,
airportorhospital),youareencouragedtoaskforauthorizationtouseintegratedwirelesscardspriorto
