ConsiderationsforattachingaDVImonitor
ConnecttheDVImonitortotheexpansionunit,andturnitonbeforeyouturnonthecomputer.Otherwise
thesystemcannotrecognizethatthemonitorisconnected.IftheoptionforenablingtheDVImonitorinthe
DisplayPropertieswindowdoesnotappear,tryclosingthewindowandopeningitagain.Iftheoptionstill
doesnotappear,makesurethattheconnectorofthemonitorisattachedrmly,andrepeattheprocedure
forattachingthemonitor.
UsingtheDisplayPortconnector
YourcomputerhasaDisplayPortconnector,thelatestdigitaldisplayinterfaceforconnectiontovarious
externaldevices,suchasCRTmonitors,projectors,orevenHDTV.Thiscompactconnectorenablesa
plug-and-playsetupandsupportsadaptorsthatcanplugintoDVI,VGA,orHDMIports.
TheDisplayPortconnectorofyourcomputersupportsaudioaswellasvideostreaming.

followtheinstructionsonthescreen.

Todisplayinformationandmakepresentations,youcanattachadataprojectortoyourcomputer.Attachthe
dataprojectortothemonitorconnectoronyourcomputer.
Note:Itmaytakeseveralsecondsbeforetheprojectordisplaystheimage.Ifyoudonotseeyourdesktop
displayedafter60seconds,trypressingFn+F7toswitchbetweendifferentdisplayoutputlocations.
YoucancreateapresentationschemebyfollowingtheinstructionsofthePresentationDirector,withthe
projectorattachedtoyourcomputer.Youcansavetheschemeforafuturepresentationwiththesame
