Actions:
•EnsurethataDVDdiscisinthedrivewiththeshinysideofthediscfacingdown.
•Ensurethatvideoresolutionissettolessthan1152x864.
•OncomputersthathaveaCD-ROMorCD-RWdriveinadditiontoaDVD-ROMdrive,makesurethatthe
DVDdiscisinthedrivelabeled“DVD”.

Intermittentproblems
Symptom:Aproblemoccursonlyoccasionallyandisdifculttorepeat.
Actions:
•Verifythatallcablesandcordsaresecurelyconnectedtothecomputerandattacheddevices.
•Verifythatwhenthecomputerison,thefangrillisnotblocked(thereisairowaroundthegrill),andthe
fansareworking.Ifairowisblockedorthefansarenotworking,thecomputermightoverheat.
•IfSCSIdevicesareinstalled,verifythatthelastexternaldeviceineachSCSIchainisterminatedcorrectly.
