2.Saveallopenles,andexitallapplications.
3.Turnoffyourcomputer.
4.RepeatedlypressandreleasetheF1keywhenturningonthecomputer.Whenyouhearmultiplebeeps
orseealogoscreen,releasetheF1key.TheSetupUtilitywindowopens.
5.Usingthecursorkeys,movetoSecurity,andpressEnter.TheSecuritymenuopens.
6.Usingthecursorkeys,movetoSecurityChip,andpressEnter.TheSecurityChipsubmenuopens.
7.Usingthecursorkeys,movetoanitemyouwanttoset.Whentheitemyouwantishighlighted,press
Enter.
8.Settheitemsyouwanttoset.
9.PressF10tosaveandexittheSetupUtilityprogram.
10.ClickYesintheSetupConrmationwindow.
TosettheSecurityChip,youhavetoopentheClientSecuritySolutionprogram,andfollowtheinstructions
onthescreen.
Note:IfyourcomputerispreinstalledwiththeWindows7operatingsystem,theClientSecuritySolution
programisnotpreinstalledonyoursystem.Tocongurethesecuritychip,youneedtodownloadthelatest
versionoftheClientSecuritySolutionprogramfromtheLenovoWebsite.TodownloadtheClientSecurity

viruses.

30days,youmustrenewthelicensetocontinuereceivingtheantivirussoftwareupdates.
