Removingaashmediacard
Toremoveaashmediacard,dothefollowing:
1.Pushtheashmediacarduntilyouhearaclick.
2.Gentlypulltheashmediacardoutofthememorycardslot.
Note:IfyoudonotremovethecardfromyourcomputerafteryouejectthecardfromtheWindows
operatingsystem,thecardcannolongerbeaccessed.Toaccessthecard,youmustremoveitonce,
theninsertitagain.
UsingUSBconnectors
YourcomputerispreinstalledwithUSBconnectorscompatiblewithUSB1.1,2.0,or3.0devices.
Note:WhenusingahighpowerconsumptionUSBdevicesuchasaUSBopticaldrive,usethepower
adapterthatcomeswiththedevice.Otherwise,thedevicemaynotberecognized,andthesystemmightbe
shutdown.
UsingBluetooth
IfyourcomputerisequippedwiththeIntegratedBluetoothfeature,youcanenableordisablethefeature
bypressingFn+F5.IfyoupressFn+F5,alistofwirelessfeaturesisdisplayed.Youcanenableordisable
theBluetoothfeaturewithasingleclick.
EnablingBluetoothcommunicationsonyourcomputer
ToenableBluetoothcommunicationsonyourcomputer,pressFn+F5toconguresettings.

•WhenyoudonotneedtousetheBluetoothfunction,disableittosavethebatterypower.
•YouneedtopairtheBluetooth-enableddevicewithyourcomputerbeforeyoucantransferdatabetween
them.Topairthedevicewithyourcomputer,refertothemanualsthatcomeswiththeBluetooth-enabled
device.
UsingtheNvidiaOptimusGraphicsfeature
SomeLenovonotebookcomputerssupportNvidiaOptimusGraphics.
NvidiaOptimusGraphicsenablesadynamicswitch,thatis,aswitchwithnoneedtorestartyourcomputer
betweenHighPerformanceandEnergySaving.
SwitchingtheGraphicsProcessingUnit
IfyourcomputersupportsNvidiaOptimusGraphics,theGraphicsProcessingUnitisswitchedautomatically
dependingonthepowersettingsyouuse.
