•Youareadvisedtoinsertthebatterypackwhenusingyourcomputertopreventsmallparticlesfrom
enteringtheinsideofyourcomputer.
•Toincreasethelifeofthebatterypack,thecomputerdoesnotstartrechargingthebatteryimmediately
afteritdropsfromfullycharged.
•Chargethebatteryatatemperaturebetween50°Fand86°F(10°C-30°C).
•Fullchargeordischargeisnotrequired.
Removingthebatterypack
Ifyouarenotgoingtousethecomputerforanextendedperiodoftime,orifyouneedtosendyourcomputer
toLenovoforservice,etc.removethebatterypackfromthecomputer.Beforeremovingthebatterypack,
makesurethecomputerhasbeenshutdown.
Handlingthebattery
Iftherechargeablebatterypackisreplacedwithanincorrecttype,theremaybedangerofanexplosion.The
batterypackcontainsasmallamountofharmfulsubstances.Toavoidpossibleinjuryanddetrimenttothe
environment,payattentiontothefollowingpoints:
•ReplaceonlywithabatteryofthetyperecommendedbyLenovo.
•Keepthebatterypackawayfromre.
•Donotexposethebatterypacktowaterorrain.
•Donotattempttodisassemblethebatterypack.
•Donotshort-circuitthebatterypack.
•Keepthebatterypackawayfromchildren.
•Donotputthebatterypackintrashthatisdisposedofinlandlls.Whendisposingofthebattery,comply
withlocalordinancesorregulationsandyourcompany’ssafetystandards.
