Replacingthebattery

Beforeyoustart,printtheseinstructions.

ThissystemdoesnotsupportbatteriesthatarenotgenuineLenovo-madeorauthorized.Thesystemwill

continuetoboot,butmaynotchargeunauthorizedbatteries.Attention:Lenovohasnoresponsibilityfor

theperformanceorsafetyofunauthorizedbatteries,andprovidesnowarrantiesforfailuresordamage

arisingoutoftheiruse.

Toreplacethebattery,dothefollowing:

1.Turnoffthecomputer,orenterhibernationmode.Disconnecttheacpoweradapterandallcables

fromthecomputer.

2.Closethecomputerdisplay,andturnthecomputerover.

3.Unlockthemanualbatterylatch1.Holdingthespring-loadedbatterylatchintheunlockedposition2,

removethebatterypackinthedirectionshownbythearrow3.

4.Installafullychargedbattery.

5.Slidethemanualbatterylatchtothelockedposition.

6.Turnthecomputeroveragain.Connecttheacpoweradapterandthecablestothecomputeragain.
