OntheWindows7operatingsystem,theOneKey

RecoveryProprogramenablesyoutodothefollowing:

•Performingbackupandrecoveryoperations

TheOneKeyRecoveryProprogramenablesyoutobackupallyourharddiskdrivecontentsincludingthe

operatingsystem,datales,softwareprograms,andpersonalsettings.Youcandesignatewherethe

OneKeyRecoveryProprogramstoresthebackup.

•UsingtheOneKeyRecoveryProworkspace

TheOneKeyRecoveryProworkspaceresidesinaprotected,hiddenareaofyourharddiskdrivethat

operatesindependentlyfromtheWindowsoperatingsystem.Thisenablesyoutoperformrecovery

operationsevenifyoucannotstarttheWindowsoperatingsystem.Youcanperformthefollowing

recoveryoperationsfromtheOneKeyRecoveryProworkspace.

•Creatingandusingarescuemedium

Witharescuemedium,suchasadiscoraUSBharddiskdrive,youcanrecoverthecomputerfromfailures

thatpreventyoufromgainingaccesstotheOneKeyRecoveryProworkspaceonyourharddiskdrive.

SolvingrecoveryproblemsontheWindows7operatingsystem

ToreinstalltheWindows7operatingsystem,dothefollowing:

1.Turnoffyourcomputer.

2.Dooneofthefollowing:

•Presstherecoverybuttonandthenfollowtheon-screeninstructionstolaunchtheProductRecovery

program.

•Startthecomputer.WhentheLenovologoisdisplayed,presstherecoverybuttonandthenfollow

theon-screeninstructionstostarttheProductRecoveryprogram.

•Startthecomputer.AfteryouhaveenteredtheWindowsoperatingsystem,presstherecoverybutton

tolaunchtheLenovoSolutionCenterprogram.

3.Followtheon-screeninstructionstoreinstalltheoperatingsystem.

Notes:

•Youcanchoosetorestoreyoursystempartitiontotheoriginalfactorystateortoapreviouslygenerated

backup.

•Therecoveryprocessisirreversible.Ensurethatyouhavebackedupyourcriticaldatabeforeusingthe

recoveryfeature.
