Youcannotchargethebatterywhenitistoohot.Ifthebatteryfeelshot,removeitfromthecomputerand
allowittocooltoroomtemperature.Afteritcools,reinstallitandrechargethebattery.Ifitstillcannot
becharged,haveitserviced.
Anacpoweradapterproblem

Theacpoweradapterisconnectedtothecomputerandtheworkingelectricaloutlet,butthe
poweradapter(powerplug)iconisnotdisplayedonthetaskbar.Alsotheacpowerindicatordoes
notlightup.
Dothefollowing:
1.Makesurethattheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect.Forinstructionsonconnectingtheac
poweradapter,seeSafety,Warranty,andSetupGuidethatcomeswithyourcomputer.
2.Iftheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect,turnoffthecomputer,thendisconnecttheacpower
adapterandremovethemainbattery.
3.Reinstallthebatteryandreconnecttheacpoweradapter,thenturnonthecomputer.
4.Ifthepoweradaptericonstillisnotdisplayedonthetaskbarandtheacpowerindicatordoesnotlight
up,havetheacpoweradapterandyourcomputerserviced.

TheMicrosoftWindowsoperatingsystemdoesnotstart.
OntheWindowsoperatingsystem,usetherecoveryprogrampreinstalledonyourcomputertohelpsolveor

Sleepandhibernationproblems

Acriticallow-batteryerroroccurs,andthecomputerimmediatelyturnsoff.
Thebatterypowerisgettinglow.Connecttheacpoweradaptertothecomputerandplugitintoanelectrical
outlet,orreplacethebatterywithachargedone.
Thecomputerenterssleepmodeimmediatelyafterthepower-onself-test.
Makesurethat:
•Thebatteryischarged.
