For access, remove these FRUs in order:

• “1010 Battery pack” on page 32

• “1030 Base cover” on page 34

Attention:

• Donotdroptheharddiskdriveorapplyanyphysicalshockto it.Thehard

diskdriveissensitivetophysicalshock.Improperhandlingcancausedamageand

permanentlossofdata.

• Beforeremovingthedrive,suggestthecustomertobackupalltheinformationon

itifpossible.

• Neverremovethedrivewhilethesystemisoperatingorinsuspendmode.

Remove the screws

. Detach the HDD connector and then remove the hard

disk drive from the slot in the direction shown by arrow
