Solution:Itisnormalforthesliderstochangepositionwhencertainsoundprogramsareused.The
programsareawareofthesettingsintheVolumeMixerwindowandareallowedtochangethesettings
themselves.AnexampleistheWindowsMediaPlayer.Usuallytheprogramhasslidersavailableto
controlthesoundfromwithintheprogram.
Problem:Thebalanceslidercannotcompletelymuteonechannel.
Solution:Thecontrolisdesignedtocompensateforminordifferencesinbalanceanddoesnot
completelymuteeitherchannel.
Problem:ThesoundcannotbeturnedoffcompletelyevenifyousettheMastervolumecontrolat
minimum.
Solution:YoustillcanhearsomesoundeventhoughyouhavesettheVolumeMixercontrolatminimum.
Toturnoffthesoundcompletely,pressthespeakermutebutton.
Problem:Whenyouconnectaheadphonetoyourcomputerwhileplayingsound,aspeakerdoesnot
producesound.
Solution:Oncetheheadphoneisattached,thestreamingisautomaticallyredirectedtoit.Ifyouwantto
