Switchingdisplayoutputs

Displayoutputscanbeswitchedusingthekeyboard.

Note:TheexternaldisplayreferstotheexternaldisplayconnectedtotheHDMIportonyourcomputer.

Toswitchdisplayoutputs,dothefollowing:

1.PressFn+F3.Theavailableoutputsaredisplayed.

TheIntelWiDi(IntelWirelessDisplay)functionusesthewirelessLANfunctiontodisplaythescreenofthis

computeronanexternaldisplayorTVsetthathastheIntelWiDiadapter.

Notes:

•TheexternaldisplayorTVsetneedstohavetheoptionalIntelWiDiadapter.

•TheexternaldisplayorTVsetneedstohaveanHDMIinputterminalorcompositevideoandaudioinput

terminals.Inaddition,theyshouldhaveaterminaltoconnecttheIntelWiDiadapter.Regardingwhether

ornottheIntelWiDiadaptercanbeconnected,consultthemanufacturerofthedevicesbeforeyou

purchasetheadapter.

Precautions

•IntelWiDiusesthewirelessLANfunction.Thehigh-speedandstablewirelessLANcommunication

environmentisrequiredbecausehigh-resolutionscreenimagesaretransferred.

•ImageandsoundofanexternaldisplayorTVsetmaybeinterferedwithbytheincreasedcommunication

speedorincreasedloadofcommunicationprocessing.

•Whenvideoimagesareplayed,instancesofjerkymotionsordroppingframesmayincrease.

•TheimageandsoundplayedontheexternaldisplayorTVsetaredelayedbyapproximately0.3seconds

comparedtothoseplayedonthecomputer.Therefore,itmaybedifﬁculttooperatethemouseand

keyboardortoentercharacters.

•IntelWiDiconﬁrmstotheHigh-bandwidthDigitalContentProtection(HDCP)standard.

•Theplaybackmayfaildependingonthecopyrightprotectionsystemadoptedinthecontents.

•IftheDuplicatethesedisplaysoptionisselectedwhenusingIntelWiDi,theselectablescreenresolutions

maybelimited.
