•IfthecomputerisconnectedtoanexternaldisplayorTVsetusingIntelWiDiandifthesoundsettings
arechanged,theconnectionwiththecomputermaybeterminated.
•IftheIntelWiDiconnectionisused,andifthecomputerismanuallyswitchedtotheSleep,HybridSleep,
orHibernate,orifyouwishtoswitchtheWindowsuseraccount,terminatetheWiDiapplicationonceand
releasetheWiDiconnection.
•IfthecomputerisconnectedtoanexternaldisplayorTVsetusingIntelWiDiandifthescreenoutputis
changedtotheLCDdisplayofthiscomputeronly,theWiDiconnectionisterminated.
ConnectingtoanexternaldisplayoraTVset
ToconnectthecomputertoanexternaldisplayoraTVsetusingIntelWiDi,dothefollowing:
1.AttachtheIntelWiDiadaptertotheexternaldisplayorTVset.FormoreinformationabouttheWiDi
adapter,refertotheIntelWiDiadaptermanual.
2.PreparethedisplaysothattheIntelWiDistandbyscreenappears.
3.DisplaytheCharmbar,andclickDevices.
4.ClickProject➙Addawirelessdisplay.
5.Whentheconnecteddeviceisdetected,selectthedesiredwirelessdisplayandfollowtheinstructions
onthescreen.
Note:IftheWPSPINinputwindowisdisplayed,enterthe8-digitsecuritycodethatisshownonthe
TVsetorexternaldisplay,andclickNext.Enterthe8-digitsecuritycodeafterenablingtheuseof
single-bytealphanumericcharactersbyselectingitfromSingle/Dual/Kanji.
DisconnectingfromanexternaldisplayoraTVset
TodisconnectthecomputerfromtheexternaldisplayorTVset,dothefollowing:
1.DisplaytheCharmbar,andclickDevices.
2.ClickProject➙Disconnect.
