SpeechRecognition
SpeechRecognitionenablesyoutocontrolyourcomputerbyvoice.
Usingonlyyourvoice,youcanstartprograms,openmenus,clickbuttonsandotherobjectsonthescreen,
dictatetextintodocuments,andwriteandsende-mails.Everythingyoudowiththekeyboardandmouse
canbedonewithonlyyourvoice.
ToopenSpeechRecognition,clicktheSearchicononthetop-rightcorneroftheStartscreenandthentype
SpeechRecognitionintothedisplayedsearchbox.Ifyouareusingakeyboard,youcanjuststarttyping
ontheStartscreenandthenthesearchboxandsearchresultsaredisplayedautomatically.Inthelist
ofresults,clickSpeechRecognition.
FormoreinformationabouthowtouseandconfigureSpeechRecognition,seetheWindowsHelpand
Supportinformationsystem.
Customizabletextsize
Dependingonyourpreference,youcanchangeonlythetextsizeinsteadofchangingthesizeofeverything
onthedesktop.Tochangethetextsize,openControlPanelandclickAppearancesandPersonalization➙
Display.Then,gotoChangeonlythetextsizeandsetatextsizethatmeetsyourneeds.
Magnifier
YourcomputerisequippedwiththeMicrosoftMagnifiertohelpvisuallyimpairedpeopleusethecomputer
morecomfortably.Magnifierisausefulutilitythatenlargespartorallofyourscreensothatyoucanseethe
wordsandimagesbetter.MagnifierispartoftheEaseofAccessCenter.
ToopenMagnifier,clicktheSearchicononthetop-rightcorneroftheStartscreenandthentypeMagnier
intothedisplayedsearchbox.Ifyouareusingakeyboard,youcanjuststarttypingontheStartscreenand
thenthesearchboxandsearchresultsaredisplayedautomatically.Inthelistofresults,clickMagnifier.
