Theacpoweradapterisconnectedtoboththecomputerandtheworkingelectricaloutlet,buttheac
poweradaptericonisnotdisplayedintheWindowsnoticationarea,andtheacpowerindicator
doesnotlightup.
Dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer,andthendisconnecttheacpoweradapterandremovethemainbattery.
2.Reinstallthebatteryandreconnecttheacpoweradapter,thenturnonthecomputer.Ensurethattheac
poweradapteriscorrectlyandsecurelyconnected.
3.Turnonthecomputer.
Iftheproblempersists,contactyourlocalCustomerSupportCenter.
Astartupproblem

TheWindowsoperatingsystemdoesnotstart.
Usetherecoveryprogramprovidedonyourcomputertoidentifyandtroubleshoottheproblem.Fordetails,

Sleepandhibernationproblems

Thisindicatesthatthebatterypowerisgettingtoolow.Connecttheacpoweradaptertoyourcomputer
andplugtheotherendoftheacpoweradapterintoanelectricaloutlet.Youalsocansolvetheproblemby
replacingthebatterywithachargedone.
Thecomputerenterssleepmodeimmediatelyafterthepower-onself-test.
Ensurethat:
•Thebatteryischarged.

•Ifyouareusingtheacpoweradapterorusingthebattery,andthebatterystatusindicatorison,press
Fn+uparrowtoincreasethescreenbrightness.
•Ifthepowerindicatorisblinking,pressthepowerbuttontoresumethecomputerfromsleepmode.
•CheckiftheLCDbacklightfeatureisenabled.
•Checkifthedisplaydevicedriverisinstalledcorrectly.
•Checkifthescreenresolutionandcolorqualityarecorrectlyset.
•Checkifthemonitortypeiscorrect.
