3.4 Configuring the Storage Location
Every video that is recorded must be stored in a specific location. Identify a specific location to store the
recorded videos and mention the number of days you want to store the video in the selected location.
 Note: It is mandatory to configure the storage locations once after installing the application.
 To configure the storage locations and to store the recorded videos, perform the following:
1. In the Common options, click .
The SecureMind Surveillance Manager Setup is displayed.

2. On the Video Storage Location pane, enter the following:
a. Select a Volume: Select a volume from the list for recording the videos.
b. New Share Name: Enter a share name where you can store the recorded videos in this shared
folder.
 Note: The existing share names cannot be used. It will provide an error message that A Share
already exists with the name <'Share'> . The information in the parenthesis is an example. The
actual name can vary from share to share.
