2. In Enter Schedule Name, enter the schedule name with the length not exceeding 32 characters.
3. In Select recording schedule pane, perform the following:
a. In Select cameras for schedule recording, select the required camera.
 Note: You can select any number of cameras from the drop-down list. A schedule should be
associated with at least one camera.
If a camera is replaced with another camera, the camera will be associated with the same
schedule as the previous camera.
A camera cannot be associated with two overlapping schedules. While saving a schedule, only
the cameras which do not overlap are saved.
b. In Select days for schedule recording, select the required options among the following for the
camera to record the activities.
 All days, Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, or Sat
The schedule is enforced on the specified days of week.
c. Select the Select date range for schedule recording check box to enable the Start Date and
End Date options.
 Note: If start date is not specified, schedule is enforced with immediate effect. If end date is
not specified, schedule is enforced forever.
i. In Start Date, click to set the start date.
ii. In End Date, click to set the end date.
4. In Select the time duration for recording pane, select any of the following recording modes:
 Activity recording: The video from the camera is recorded if any activity occurs within the ROI
region defined for that camera. The recording shall consist of 15 seconds of recording prior to the
detected activity. The recording shall continue if the activity is persistent and shall stop if there is no
activity for 5 seconds interval.
 Continuous recording: The video from the camera is recorded continuously irrespective of any
activity. Continuous recording is started and stopped as per the defined schedules.

A schedule must contain at least one activity or continuous recording instance.
Each recording mode can be specified with a start time and end time within 00:00 to 23:59 hours. The
minimum duration of a recording mode is 15 minutes.
