3. In High Bandwidth Stream and Low Bandwidth Stream, perform the following:
a. Compression format: Select any of the optionsh264, mpeg4, or mjpeg to modify the
compression format.
b. Resolution: Select any of the options720x576, 704x576, 640x480, 348x288, or 320x240
to modify the resolution.
c. Bit Rate Control: Select any of the optionsCBR or VBR to modify the bit rate control.
d. Frame rate: Select any of the options1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 12, 16, 20, or 25 to modify the
frame rate.
Note: The frame rate values may change depending on the camera model. If the camera is
PAL, then FPS range is between 1- 25. If the camera is NTSC, then FPS range is between 1-
30.
Also, the resolution, bitrate, and frame rate for the Low bandwidth stream must always be
lesser than High bandwidth stream.
e. Compression: Select the compression value. If the compression is high, then the video quality is
low.
f. GOV Length: Select the GOV length. This refers to the number of video frames between two key
frames. A lower number of GOV lengths result in a higher bitrate and processing requirement.
Recommended GOV length is equal to the frame rate. For example, if the frame rate is 10 then
recommend GOV length is 10.
g. Enable Audio: Select this option to enable audio recording, to listen the audio from the camera.
4. In Recording Requirement, select any of the following options:
Access recorded videos in local network: Select this option to access recorded videos from local
network. Only the high bandwidth stream can be recorded and is available for playback.
Access videos from remote network: Select this option to access recorded videos from remote
network. Both high and low bandwidth can be recorded and is available for playback.
Minimize disk space for recording: Select this option to minimize the disk space for recording.
Only the low bandwidth stream can be recorded and is available for playback.
5. Click Apply to save the settings.
