Existing NAS device is not functional and has been replaced within the warranty
period. Can the licenses from the old NAS device be transferred to the new
device?
Answer:
Yes if you replace the NAS device, then the license(s) can be transferred.
You must share the user details with old MAC address, new MAC address, and user e-mail ID to the
technical support team. The technical support team will send the new activation code to your e-mail ID.
What happens to the license information when I perform software reset on the
NAS device?
Answer:
You can enter any one of the License keys for the device .The server will authenticate the license key and
send back the last updated activation code.
If you do not have the internet connection, then send the MAC address and License key information to
the Technical support team. The Technical support team will provide the last used activation code that is
available on the server.
Alternatively, you can verify the license details and activation code at www.securemind.mindtree.com
(My Account > License details).
Note: You must register on the Web site to access this information.
I have activated license key for 48 cameras but only 32 cameras are shown in the
license information.
Answer:
The maximum cameras that are supported by the NAS device model can be 32. The application allows
you to add the cameras to NAS device model. Refer the Possible license upgrades table to know the
number of cameras that are supported by the NAS devicemodel.
After upgrading the license to the device, the License Information in the
application does not match with the user account license details seen on the Web
site (www.securemind.mindtree.com).
Answer:
Verify if the number of cameras added exceeds the maximum number of cameras supported by the
device. The maximum number of cameras supported by NAS device is indicated in the Possible license
upgrades table.
